Wait to receive
your Student Aid Report (approx 3-4 weeks). Check to see if everything
is correct. If there are mistakes, correct them, and send the form
to the school. Look to see if you are selected for verification
(this has nothing to do with the amount
you will be awarded).
If you have been selected, you will need
to submit a verification worksheet or IVF for the appropriate
school year and dependency status.

Also, you will
need to send a copy of your taxes that you used to complete the
FAFSA; your parent’s taxes if you are dependant, or your spouse’s
taxes if you are Independent. If you have not been selected, wait
for an award contract to arrive in the mail.
