CLEP
CLEP stands for College-Level Examination Program. The CLEP enables students to take tests in various areas and receive class credit depending upon the scores received. Testing Services will administer any of the CLEP tests. You can obtain extensive information about CLEP at the following web site: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/exams.html.

The cost for the CLEP testing varies. Check with testing sites in your area for costs and testing procedures. They will order the test and notify you when it arrives. You may then make an appointment to take your test.
  NOTE
* Duplicate credit will not be awarded for Advanced Placement and CLEP exams.
* The appropriate department determines the amount of credit given through CLEP Subject Examinations.
* Students who have already taken courses, which satisfy or partially satisfy General Education area requirements, will only be eligible for partial credit. Students who have completed all of the General Education area requirements are not eligible for credit through CLEP General Examination.
